ONE Committees

Our Committees

Zoning Committee
The zoning committee works with neighbors, potential developers and the City of Atlanta to review zoning, variance, and business license applications for consistency with the Edgewood master plan and the long term vision as an affordable, beautiful, and safe neighborhood.  The zoning committee meets on the first Monday of each month and presents items for neighborhood review and voting at the monthly ONE meeting. Neighborhood recommendations are then moved through to the NPU-O and ultimately to the City of Atlanta for finalization.  A current priority is proactive rezoning for R5 lots. Transportation Committee
The transportation committee works with neighbors, the City of Atlanta and the state of Georgia to improve the transportation infrastructure of Edgewood.  A key objective is to make the neighborhood walkable, safe and connected.

Diversity Committee
The diversity committee strives to broaden communication and involvement in ONE to ensure the rich diversity of the Edgewood Neighborhood is reflected in its decision making.

Education Committee
The education committee advocates for better schools to help strengthen the community and attract young families who want to make Edgewood their long term home.

Other Committees
Additional committees are being considered OR in the process of being formalized and include topics like Public Safety, Green Spaces, and Historic Edgewood. Stay tuned for additional updates on this page and ways you can become more engaged in Edgewood.
